Teradata developer (Based in Singapore)

Responsibilities:

• Will be part of a a Financial Datawarehousing project for a leading bank in Singapore involve in Migration of data from Legacy system to Teradata database.
• Will be involve in systems analysis, interaction with business users and detailed documentation at various stages of the project life cycle
• Task to develop mapping to handle extraction, transformation and loading of data using Informatica.
• Will be involve in complete ETL life cycle of the project
• Will be involve in the development, validation and testing of mappings using Informatica Power Center 7.1
• Will create Teradata utilities :MLOAD, BTEQ, FLOAD

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in IT or equivalent.
• With 3 - 5 years of development and support experience with Teradata.
• With hands-on ETL experience with Informatica.
• Has done at least 2 full software life-cycle development Datawarehouse projects covering Data Gathering, System Analysis, Database Design, Application Design, Development, and Testing using Informatica.
• With working projects using Teradata utilities: FLoad, BTEQ, FASTLOAD and data extraction
• Have experience in Teradata migration project and good understanding of FSLDM.
• With strong exposure in Unix Scripting development.
• With background in Data Warehousing Application Development mainly in data transformation analysis, data cleaning, data conforming, data staging and data integration.
• With good working knowledge on Financial Systems Logical Data Model (FSLDM)
• Preferably with working projects for a banking industry.
• Position is based in Singapore.
